Los Alamos National Laboratory (2007)
- Los Alamos National Laboratory is a world-recognized center of research and scientific engineering.
- Serving millions of pages a day, performance is particularly important goal of this site.
- This is compounded by the size of the site, which requires for updates (and possible retractions) to happen nearly instantly.
- Further, with the number of individuals within the laboratory who maintain their own sub-sites, attempts are maintained to pull and reuse data, meaning many pages silently determine what will appear on every single page load.

- Santa Cafe is a premier dining destination in the city different.
- Their website attempts to capture the restaurant's understated eloquence and indeed, makes food into art.
- In an attempt to ease administration costs, the business can easily edit their frequently changing menu without invoking the services of costly designers.

Ten Thousand Waves (2005)
- Ten Thousand Waves is a luxury Japanese Spa located in Santa Fe. Goals for their site included an easily-identifiable Japanese style, an online store and client-manageable content.
- Immense amounts of content is easily discoverable behind just a handful of top-level pages.
- Many pages in the site can be edited by Ten Thousand Waves in their web browsers via a custom-designed site content management system.
- Additionally, their online store is completely driven by the XCart e-commerce system, which automates credit-card processing, product management and the user's checkout process.
